the United States including major shows at Peter Miller Gallery
in Chicago, Gallery of Functional Art in LA. Aaron Packer Gallery
in Chicago, The Works Gallery in Philadelphia – Plus inclusion
at (SOFA) at Navy Pier in Chicago 85-02. He maintains a studio in
Lakeside Michigan and shows work at Lovell & white also in lakeside.

Floyd Gompf's journey into the world of sculptural furniture
is meticulously represented through his perspective drawing and
ceramics. Floyd worked in slab rolled clay and fiberglass molds,
along with concrete to create both functional and non-functional
sculptures. Indeed, he discovered that furniture was his passion.
Floyd's
work has been shown extensively in the east and midwest, as well
as exhibited in the Los Angeles area.
